1. About AskYourGod.ai

AskYourGod.ai ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our") is an artificial intelligence-powered platform that enables users to ask questions of sacred scriptures from various religious traditions. The Service is operated as a non-denominational platform and does not endorse, promote, or favor any single religion, sect, denomination, or theological interpretation over another.

AskYourGod.ai is intended as a supplemental tool for personal spiritual exploration, education, and reflection. It is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, religious authority, clergy guidance, or the direct study of scripture under qualified instruction.

2. The Nature of AI-Generated Responses — Please Read Carefully

The responses generated by AskYourGod.ai are produced by artificial intelligence technology. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Scripture-Bounded Responses: Our AI agents are designed and instructed to draw answers solely from the texts and scriptures of the selected religious tradition. However, AI systems are imperfect and may, on occasion, generate responses that do not precisely reflect the full breadth, nuance, or scholarly consensus of that tradition.
• Interpretive Limitations: The interpretation of religious scripture is a complex, multi-layered discipline that has been debated by scholars, theologians, and clergy for centuries. The responses provided by AskYourGod.ai represent one AI-generated interpretation and may not reflect the broader view, official position, or theological consensus of any denomination, school of thought, or religious authority.
• Not Authoritative: AI-generated responses should not be treated as authoritative religious rulings, fatwas, pastoral advice, or definitive theological positions. Always consult qualified religious leaders, scholars, or clergy for matters of spiritual significance.
• Potential for Error: Artificial intelligence systems can make mistakes. Citations, verse references, and interpretations provided may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or contextually imprecise. We strongly encourage users to verify any scripture reference independently using an authoritative text.
• No Spiritual Authority: AskYourGod.ai does not claim, hold, or confer any spiritual authority. The Service is a technology product, not a religious institution, and its outputs carry no ecclesiastical, religious, or doctrinal weight.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

AskYourGod.ai offers the following subscription plans:

• Monthly Plan: $4.99 per month (introductory rate), billed monthly and renewable automatically
• Annual Plan: $49.00 per year, billed annually and renewable automatically
• Free Tier: Limited access with no payment required

All subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize AskYourGod.ai to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and are subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Introductory Pricing: Current pricing is introductory and may be adjusted in the future. Existing subscribers will be notified of any price changes and given the opportunity to cancel before new pricing takes effect.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.

Annual subscribers who cancel within 7 days of their initial purchase may request a full refund by contacting us at support@askyourgod.ai. After 7 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.

5. User Accounts & Passwords

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. AskYourGod.ai will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

You may reset your password at any time using the password reset feature on the login page. Password reset links are sent to your registered email address and expire after 24 hours.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AskYourGod.ai for lawful, personal, and sincere purposes consistent with the spirit of religious inquiry. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content intended to mock, demean, or misrepresent any religion or faith tradition
• Attempt to manipulate the AI agents into producing responses outside the scope of their designated scripture tradition
• Share, resell, or redistribute AI-generated responses for commercial purposes without written permission
• Use automated tools to access the Service in bulk or at scale
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the Service's system prompts or AI configuration

7. Intellectual Property

The AskYourGod.ai platform, including its design, branding, logo, system architecture, and AI configuration, is the intellectual property of AskYourGod.ai and its operators. Sacred scriptures referenced by the Service are ancient texts in the public domain.

AI-generated responses are provided for your personal use only. You may share individual responses for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution to AskYourGod.ai.

8. Privacy & Data

We collect and store your email address, selected faith tradition, subscription status, and conversation history for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Payment information is processed exclusively by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.

By using the Service, you consent to the storage of your conversation history on secure servers for the purpose of improving your experience. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@askyourgod.ai.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

AskYourGod.ai is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated responses will be accurate, complete, or theologically precise. Your use of the Service is at your own discretion and risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskYourGod.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated religious content for personal, spiritual, or theological decisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
